I'm Ben, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and I currently compete at the Division I level at Indiana University. I began my college career at Virginia Tech before transferring to Indiana my sophomore year. In high school, I was a two-time individual state champion in Ohio and finished ranked #51 in my graduating class. I've reached a high UTR of 12.69 in college.
Tennis has been a defining part of my life. It's where I built my closest friendships, learned what it means to be dedicated to something, and developed as a person. Having been through the process myself makes it rewarding to see players have breakthroughs and start believing in their game.
As a player, I'm a baseliner who relies on my forehand, and film analysis has become very important to my training. I film my shots to analyze technique and watch match footage to identify patterns and areas to improve. I bring that analytical mindset to lessons, and I like to coach in a way that's intuitive and actionable. I've coached all levels, from complete beginners to college-bound players. My goal is always to help players reach their potential and learn in a way that's tailored to them.

Submit up to 5 minutes of one shot — forehand, backhand, serve, return, or volley. Ben breaks it down with drawing, slow motion, voiceover, and side-by-side comparison. No generic tips — just the 1–2 adjustments that matter most.
Submit up to 30 minutes of footage and a focus area. Ben reviews, annotates, and records a full lesson response.
Four lessons built around your game, with a progress note at the end.
super clear, and he has a really sharp eye for spotting issues in my technique, including some things I hadn’t noticed myself. I especially like how he includes clips of professional tennis players as examples—it makes his explanations much easier to understand and gives me a clear picture of what I should be working toward. I also asked several follow-up questions, and Ben responded quickly and patiently with very helpful explanations. I’ve learned a lot from his feedback and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their tennis skills!
Ben's responsive and articulate. His analysis is detailed and built around real match play. He critiqued a few fundamentals for me to work on, designed a specific drill for me to be aggressive inside the baseline, with the overall idea to gain court positioning and timing. Highly recommend.
